Thanks for the tips. I thought I had the full universal access turned on, but was missing the full keyboard access. Geee, so much for Apple universal access - just like the one button mouse ! totally useless.

This drove me nuts in Firefox on a mac for ages (especially why trying to use phpMyAdmin which requires tabbing through a lot of radio buttons that Firefox would just ignore!)
