Yes you got tunnel vision. Back in 2001 XDoclet was used to generate ejb stuff. But over the time other usage scenarios arised - and a lot of xdoclet developers ceased to use EJB at all ( because there are alternatives ) If you look into distrobution jar, you will see a lot of xdoclet modules - ejb is only fraction of them. > So, in my opinion, it seems kind of ridiculous to > "release" Xdoclet2 if > it doesn't generate EJBs. not for me. I do not use ejb anymore, but hibernate, externalising & webwork stuff.
