- video card: Sapphire with chipset ATI Radeon 7500 64Mb DDR duel head - monitor: Sony 100ES - Mandrake 9.0 with XFree86 4.2.1 My linux system detect the video card right but when testing the configuration the monitor goes blank. I've tried to edit manually the XF86Config file and found out that - the monitor goes blank when Driver (at Section "Device") is "radeon" or "ati" - X starts but with slow performance when Driver (at Section "Device") is "vesa" Can you suggest me a solution or show me an alternative resource to ask for help ? I've included my /var/log/XFree86.0.log and /usr/X11/XF86Config file thanks Antonio Di Vaira
