[XFree86] startx problem

Hi,   I use linux 7.2, on 845GL motherboard, the startx does not run automatically, In my Xconfig-4 file in /etc/X11 i type "vesa" as the name of the device driver, i got this from intel website. I have to type startx everytime I start my computer after login and then it works fine, sometimes startx doesn't run and gives fatal error on the same machine, then i create a new login in linux and it works fine there. Can anyone suggest a solution of this problem.   Regards Ashutosh
