Btw., I am just curious, what is the reason for '(exit X)' statements in
the test_scripts.sh file?  Apart from that it sets the "last-command" exit
status -- '$?', which is empty operation for us anyway, I don't see
reason.  I followed that style but I doubt that it is necessary.
