I have neither 7100s nor 8100s, but I have plenty of 9150s, which are 
essentially 8100s repackaged in a Q950 case.

I use the NewerTech G3 cards exclusively.

They are made in 220, 240, 260, 280, 300, and perhaps 320 MHz.

The 300 and faster cards have problems with "pass through" video, but 
that doesn't matter to me as a "pass through" setup is mechanically 
impossible on a 9150, anyway.

These have been rock solid cards.

Oh, some have 512 kB backside cache; others have 1024 kB backside cache.

All the info on the NewerTech cards, including the INITs and control 
panels, is available on OWC's support site.
