That's quite right. But in all Macs with a built-in drive, there are
really more differences between 400 and 800 Kb disks (because of the
different filesystem and the inability of certain OSes of using only one
side of the disk) than between 800 Kb and 1.44 Mb disks (because all
Apple internal drives are prepared to read/write variable-speed 400/800
Kb disks without problem). I do know that I can not read or write 400 or
800 Kb disks on any PC (and it's troublesome for me, because I'm mainly
a PC user with some Apples in my collection, including some not 1.44
Mb-capable). But we are talking about Macs, right? :-)
