Due to the lack of response, I am beginning to believe that the data on the hard disk is unrecoverable. So, I think I will reinitialize soon. However, can anyone help me recover some of the software that I had on the drive? There was a lot of stuff that I will probably never be able to find again, but the biggest thing I'd like back is Office (I think I had version 5.2.1 or something like that). I had all the disk images on the hard drive, and was going to make pysical copies when the catastrope occurred.
I will be more careful with older software from now on, and will make backup copies of important software.
