The whole point of radio is promotion. That's very poor promotion (on the station's part) when they fail to frontsell or backsell a track (especially a new one). For while, I think it was Warner Bros. that was affixing big labels to its promotional music that said "When you play it, SAY IT." Unfortunately, most radio stations seem to be too pre-occupied with "continuous music sweeps" and coordinating on-air contests to be worried about properly promoting the music they play on the radio.
