My questions is this...

[ and you may have noticed I keep pretty quiet these days, but being an
art director in an "agency" environemnt I've seen all the bullshit
political nonsense my zxensitive brain can handle ]

Why publicly humiliate the man who made this entire thing happen in the
first place? What does that do? Does it satisfy the injured ego's of the
promotion company by taking their angst out on a public dismissal?

AND!!!!

And I'm speaking as someone who's been in the strategic marketing
business for almost 7 years, why create such a negative stir about an
event that makes its profit from people's enjoyment? If they are a
"promotion" or "event management" firm, how could they be so ( delete
expletive here ) naive as to send out these kind of negative concepts
into the minds of the public a week before their precious show? Which,
incidentally is so valuable to them that they are announcing the
dismissal of their creative director a week before the show?

I have one answer and I've seen it before :

Big ego's and short sightedness.

Thanks for all the friendly thoughts before I fly my damn ass all over
the country to see the show organized by a company that dismissed the
man who made it happen. Nice one guys, pro all the way.

// giles-out.
