Without ever have gone to an Electroclash event - it calls to my mind things I've heard/read/seen on Studio 54. All glam - except the music has a bigger part but the participant is the star - very Me Generation for those who missed out on it (it was shallow and self-indulgent back then too). Anyway, it's still not electro - unless you've got some breakin' crews there dueling it out ;)
