i think that's the point - we all are. i frequently fail to understand
people getting upset about techno not getting mainstream coverage, or not
getting played in the clubs in favor of trance or garage or whatever.

who cares? really?

it's time we faced up to the truth. techno isn't gonna take the world by
storm. it had its few moments of pop limelight ( well, in europe anyway) but
pop music is for the kids. forget about it. let them listen to what they
want. i wouldn't have listen to someone my age when i was 17 telling me what
i listened to was crap. and they did tell me that - about techno.

techno is something else - like reggae, jazz and classical music - it's now
something timeless. thats why i love it, and that's why i'm constantly
looking out for new artists and new sounds. it is 9and maybe we should be)
for more mature than to concern itself with being mass market or popular.
