Sennheiser I don't use a closed cup earphone though because of the risk of tinnitus Sennheiser makes both open and closed models though Their sound is much more accurate (and clear/defined) than any other headphone I've ever used and I find that generally they are loud enough for most environments - and I have found that the more accurate the sound is, the less volume I actually need because things aren't muddy and I don't need to turn up the cue (and if I'm following another DJ I find myself often turning the cue volume down). Sennheiser headphones can get expensive but usually the more you pay for headphones the better the quality - the most important thing is not to skimp on the quality of the sound because it's not just your mix that you should be concerned about but also your hearing and the health of your ears. Tinnitus sucks.
