I'm too cheap to buy a lot of new records but when it comes to newer music I mostly go for Chicago flavored techno with old school sensibilities. I'm buying a lot of older electronic music like '80s new age, and some techno classics. The only thing I bought that would be considered new from Detroit this year is Robert Hood's material. The Roman Flugel compilation CD on Klang was a nice purchase. I'll buy the new Kraftwerk album because it's mature electro music. As far as house music is concerned older Chicago house like Ten City sounds cool. > or post a mix you've done....either would be good I'm focusing on my own material instead of DJing these days besides I only have one functional 1200.
