I'm too cheap to buy a lot of new records but when it comes to newer music
I mostly go for Chicago flavored techno with old school sensibilities.
I'm buying a lot of older electronic music like '80s new age, and some
techno classics.
The only thing I bought that would be considered new from Detroit this year
is Robert
Hood's material.
The Roman Flugel compilation CD on Klang was a nice purchase.

I'll buy the new Kraftwerk album because it's mature electro music.

As far as house music is concerned older Chicago house like Ten City sounds
cool.

I'm focusing on my own material instead of DJing these days besides I only
have one functional 1200.
