no, actually i was both. i've always been torn apart by these two, 
having interest in both, sometimes buying more techno, sometimes more

vocal ain't deep necessary. for example lately i've been getting good 
kicks from "Mambara - Libre" which is quite nice uplifting party track, 
definitely not deep house and other big tune for this summer has been 
"UBP feat. Bobby Pruit - We Are One", definitely not deep house. and 
bubblin under has been also "S3 & The Truth - Said I Wasn't Going to 
tell Nobody", i wouldn't say it's deep house. if you need categories for 
these i'd say they are all "Garage", which i myself think as 
continuation of disco, named after-you-know-what-club (paradise garage).

but i drop in some techno or classics if i'm in the mood. it's not that 
strict.
