Deepchord is a Detroit label I think (so it is 313 ;-) - I found their
first one about 5 years ago now, so they've been around a pretty long time,
but they are really against any kind of promotion, so their EPs tend to
filter into the stores pretty subtly. Excellent stuff though, kinda Basic
Channel'y with a slightly smoother edge...

Not sure if it's all the same artist, as there is minimal info on the one's
I've got, but it's certainly a consistent sound across all the cuts...

I heard the faith cut on Matt McQueen's show - it's excellent - who are Deep
Chord? I heard about 4 of their tracks on a mix that heavily feautured
M/BC/CR material, so I thought it might yet another sublabel.
This ain't 313 you know - so does this email count as noise?

Jonas Berring's "Emballages" EP on Kompakt is a nice variation on Deepchord
sort of stuff; also worth picking up in that vein are releases on Force
Tracks and a fair few on Gadgets as well.

An EP that came out a couple of months ago that's worth chasing down is Paul
St Hilaire (aka Tikiman) ft Rene Lowe (aka Scion). It's called the Faith EP
and is out on False Tuned records, and if you like the sounds on Deepchord
releases and haven't heard this one you should definitely try to track it
down.

Then again, you probably know all this stuff already :)
