I've had mune up there for a few years now...there is a way to go there and make your collection private so that no one else can see it. That way, no one will ask you to sell it. It does happen all the time now, but I have scored some real deals out of there...
If you have a huge problem with it let me know...I am a moderator and I will bring it up in the mod forum to see if maybe something else can be done about it. I suppose if you already know that then it might get annoying. And the tendency to overcharge is very true - imagine what it'll be like in ten years' time? Trying to source those original or rare slates is only gonna get harder... What i do find annoying is people saying i have this record 'from your want list' without naming a price, then when you ask its like 60 pounds or something- pffft. http://www.discogs.com/~questpond Regards, Quest Pond -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 30, 2004 1:09 AM To: [email protected] Subject: (313) Discogs.com question I've started building my collection on discogs and just got an email from someone wanting to buy one of my records - is this common? None of my records on there are for sale, I just use the website as a back-up to my library database I have at home. So do people use Discogs alot to sell and trade? MEK
