It is common... I have sometimes emailed ppl to see if they would part
with things....., just as I get asked if I want to sell stuff...

I think if u don't want any questions, just put a message in your
profile saying nothing is for sale..

Usually works..

If I have a record that I want to sell I'll send an email to people who
have it in there wants list, so I suppose that people will also try to
buy records off peeps that have them in there collection..

Subject: (313) Discogs.com question

I've started building my collection on discogs and just got an email
from
someone wanting to buy one of my records - is this common?
None of my records on there are for sale, I just use the website as a
back-up to my library database I have at home.

So do people use Discogs alot to sell and trade?
