Hmm. What's wrong with it?

Eddie Grant - dreadlocked reggae musician- sporting synths and drum machine at the high in the mix out of nowhere in 1982 (or whenever it was.) It's notable and not cheesy at all. The lyrics hint about the (then) oppressiveness and inner-city blight that Electric Avenue is not a million miles away from even today. Also check 'Livin' On The Frontline'. I don't even like the tracks enough to own them but I don't think they're as bad as all that.
