plus a lot of disco sounds so much better at -8. brings down the highs
well maybe but for me rather than a 'pitched up / down style' I pitch
things
to mix them (so disco often gets speeded up)
my problem with things like Jaguar (a bit) or something like Cyrus

(a lot!) is that they're so fast that it's difficult to include them
(if I
want to mix them in, I know I could not do this but I kind of like
it!) in a
set where you're just meandering along and suddenly think 'I know!
Cyrus
Inversion! next!'. If I want to play Cyrus Inversion I'm going to
have to
have decided 10 records before and gradually pitched everything else
up.
