My friend Ian runs a very successful night playing 60s soul and 80s indie type stuff - the dancefloor is always jumping and gyrating to the likes of Solomon Burke and The Smiths, yet he constantly gets asked to play something that people will dance to, despite the sweating haeving mess behind them
