The fact that there are only exceptions to this rule kind of proves it. Someone off-list mentioned Slick Rick. I mean, how could I forget Slick Rick? He's the Original British MC and he definitely had his own style/did it right. So maybe it isn't like asking a Papua New Guinean to yodel.
