I loved Wireless (some of it reminded me of the kind of music you hear - or
should hear - on space documentaries) but I am not feeling the new single
either - it sounds like the kinda ravey stuff you heard in the mid-90s with
a vocal tacked on. We have a guy in Australia who does the same kind of
stuff, Honeysmack - it's kinda 'party like it's 1991', not old enough to be
retro, just really dated. The mixes are very non-descript.

I have the album and will play tonight (report soon, I am hopeful) - it's
out in April, I was told.

Re: Planetary Assault Systems, this is from an interview I did late last
year. I think it's a good thing to wind up, that last album sounded very
derivative to me.

Interestingly, Slater is finishing off Planetary Assault Systems. "I haven't
really got the time or the feeling I used to have to do Planetary and I
don't wanna keep on doing it just because I can sell a few records or
whatever, so that was the last album," he says. "You suddenly realise that
things have changed and you have just moved on."
