I feel wierd for sounding so negative lately b/c that's not how I am, but is
this really surprising? Has Luke Slater ever put out a release that was
chock-full of goodness? The first Morganistic is the only thing I can think
of that aproaches this. I've owned 4-cornered room and pretty much all of
the 7th Plain material at one time or another. I've also heard most of the
PAS material, and own a few, which seem so inconsistent to me that I tend to
avoid them. Is it me, or does this seem like a catch-all pseudonym for him?
I always thought Morganistic was the only of his harder efforts that was
reliable. Not that there weren't amazing stand-out tracks, but the works
themselves always seemed to be packed with filler. I have a lot of respect
for him, but I've always 2nd-guessed his releases for this reason.
