The Venue in Edinburgh - its dark, its sweaty, the bogs are 
useless, the sound systenm is some random stacks of speakers 
but what more could you ask of a techno club :) somehow the 
fact that its the only place in edinburgh to see the likes of 
jeff mills, dave clarke, dj funk, derrick may, mark farina 
etc means that its pretty rocking and somehow the mankiness 
kind of suits the tunes!

Agreed, I did like the venue. Another place I liked in Edinburgh was la 
belle angel. Small with a hefty sound - sweat ridden stone walls. Sounds 
bad but you couldn't beat the atmosphere on some nights.
Something about clubs there, I think it's the fact they're all in old 
buildings.
