I think to get the level of docs that we need, or that other tools have, you would need some dedicated tech evangelist/writers on staff and a commitment from management to make it a priority. Back when I was working on my materials for the World Tour (Southern edition), I sent an email to four different countries offering to rewrite some of their CALL WORKER documentation (gratis). I never even got a response.
