Hi Doug, We’ve used Mac Mini Colo & Mac Stadium for years. Actually I liked the provisioning of Mac Stadium better than Mac Mini Colo so I was happy when they were absorbed.
We’ve been very happy with the service and support. The biggest thing I’d warn you is to use the Legacy Network Layer when going over the WAN (if possible). We’ve also kept the machines at Yosemite as I’ve seen performance issues on the boxes when going beyond that OS version (I haven’t tried High Sierra yet). The performance issues had to do with an OS X process taking up high CPU usage. I could kill it but it would come back. The other nice thing about Mac Stadium is that you can have them install windows on the mac if you’d prefer to run the server on windows (you need to give them a windows license).
