Alan, SET DATABASE PARAMETER(54;4)
This is for testing, wanted to make sure 4D closed the connection, not any network resource. But alas something is closing it and 4D Remote is crashing because of it. The crash occurs both after a long time of idle, and when the users are actively interacting in the application. The SET DATABASE PARAMETER(14;1) AND SET DATABASE PARAMETER(13;1) seem to have made the idle error occur after a longer delay on our test network. But the error continues to occur both on our network, and on our client’s network. We have not solved this problem. We plan to open a tech support case… Thanks!
