I have now spent some time on this:
1. The document is created in the correct folder
2. There are no permission errors to be noted and the problem can be duplicated
on a second machine with the same OS, but everything works fine in Sierra on
multiple machines
3. Error -43 is returned on the following line
$error:=SMTP_Attachment ($smtp_id; $document; 2; 0; ””; ”application/PDF”)
Where $document is the full path and file name
It makes no difference in whether you use system or POSIX format for $document
If allowed the email is sent - just without the attachment!
This is using 4D Server 16 r4 (64 bit) and 16 r4 (32 bit) clients as we use 4D
Write extensively
My gut feeling is that this is a problem with the new Mac file system (APFS)
and Internet commands.
We now have two computers which are effectively useless!
