Years ago when I had to do a screen pop from a phone system, I used the 4D OLE_Tools to handle an inter-application call from a .net app. It sent a payload which included the unique ID of a customer record in the 4D DB. There was a 4D process which listened for that call and automatically opened the customer record. 4D OLE_Tools is long gone, but the process should be similar using REST.
