Hi Gustin :)

okay, thank you, I won't use 3D for a DAW Linux if this can cause troubles.

:Just a week and I have money for a NVidia graphics ... shit! As I've
written today. Everything seems to be fine for applications like Gimp,
Icedove etc. and !!! also for Ardour. I just run into troubles with MIDI
applications. And not to forget, all HDDs have a CHS/LBA inconsistency,
also virgin drives.

Anyway, I also need a NVidia if I'll get another motherboard for my AMD
CPU, I can't change to Intel.

I'll clutch at straws. Maybe we have different revisions of the M2A-VM
HDMI. I'll first buy a NVidia card and the month after, if needed a new
mobo, if there will be one with AM2 socket and I'll have enough money.

I've got a cold and not much to do, so I can compile a 2.6.26 with rt
patch. The problems with MIDI applications are the same with 2.6.24 rt
for 64 Studio and 2.6.25 rt for Suse. I didn't compile 2.6.26 because
'all' people say it's not fine for DAWs.

Which BIOS did you use? My actual M2A-VM HDMI is 2001 BIOS. There's one
newer version, 2101 BIOS, I'll get it today or tomorrow. I think you
have the 2101.

Thank you for the bad news :D.

Cheers,
Ralf
