Hi Daniel :) Qtractor might be a 'serious' sequencer, that's why I'm thinking to test it with Suse and 64 Studio Lenny, I don't think it can be compiled for the 64 Studio default. LMMS and Seq24 won't fit to my needs, but I guess I'll try them to, just to know if ALSA MIDI isn't fine or if Rosegarden and MusE aren't fine. On the other hand, there seems to be no sequencer for Linux able to do all the things the Atari Cubase 3.1 can do, maybe I should try to sync the Atari to a Linux HD recorder and to some virtual synth until Linux sequencers will become as functional as Cubase 3.1. Even Rosegarden and MusE don't have the possibilities Cubase 3.1 for the Atari has got. The only problems for me are, that I need replacement equipment for my Atari and that Linux maybe can't be synced perfect by MTC. Because I don't know what to do first, I think I'll do some sync tests running Ardour and/or Non DAW as MTC master and MTC slave. Maybe there isn't the buffer delay we know from JACK transport or any other trouble. As I have written before, the Atari ST visually followed Rosegarden synced by MTC, but Rosegarden didn't follow the Atari ST. Cheers, Ralf
