Hi Daniel :)

I'm connected by PPPoE to my ADSL modem, most people might be connected
to a router. It's not often that I read about that problem with
flash-nonfree, but from time to time some people seems to have this problem.

Okay, Synaptic gives the information that 'This package will download
the Flash Player from Adobe'.

There might be a note useful for people that are from Windows, not to
give up, if they have some troubles with those kinds of multimedia,
because the problems are easy to solve.

I guess there are a lot of people having hardware, that will ensure a
stable Linux, but because they don't know about flash-nonfree and
codecs, they think Linux is unstable.

By the way, I can't remember that I installed any codec for my default
64 Studio myself and I guess I also used codecs with this install too.
Maybe there is less work for the user, when installing 64 Studio instead
of some other Linux.

Cheers,
Ralf

OT: There is a thread on the Ardour's user list about a problem with
Jack, when running Ardour. It's about one of the troubles I had, when I
was running Rosegarden and not Ardour.

Today the dentist pulled the nerves of a tooth, I hope I'll now have the
nerve and be in full swing again to work on my audio Linux. Everything I
did in the last weeks was with less elan. I fear to become troubles when
using Ardour seriously.
