Yes, what's about MIDI and Fluidsynth?

Everything is stable on my Linux, but I can't run a MIDI sequencer and
Fluidsynth-DSSI or Qsynth.

Here is a link to a little something I cooked up just now.

http://www.harleystudio.co.za/misc/midi-demo_rach.ogg

I downloaded a free midi file from the internet, started up the infamous Rosegarden and imported it into it. I then configured a hand full of software synths, using fluidsynth to build up a quick orchestra, loading many instances of a cheap 8M soundfont I got with my soundblaster many years ago. For the pianoforte, I fired up Qsampler, and loaded a .gig file of a hybrid-piano I downloaded for free some time ago.

Recorded everything in ardour, exported as wav, and converted to .ogg using audacity.

Enjoy...
