Not very informative.  We will have to try something else.  Try running
the following command:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-2.6.29-1-multimedia-686

If that fails, reply with the output, but also run the following command
and give me/us the output:

sudo aptitude reinstall linux-image-2.6.29-1-multimedia-686
