Hi Daniel,
I didn't heard or read about the latest news about this "accident". A
pilot shouldn't be a "user", he has got the responsibility to 100% take
care, even if auto-pilot is running. If I'm tired and totally pissed, I
can take the responsibility for my computer, but not for driving a car,
because of the difference what can happen, if I do something stupid with
my computer or something "stupid" ("criminal" might be the better word
here) with a car.
I agree with your thoughts about desktop computers, but this example is
an example of irresponsible idiots who thought about them self, that
they were pilots.
