Okay. A last word to the German law about copying music and videos. Supermarkets sell turn tables and video players with computer interfaces and the advertising that they can be used to copy records and video tapes to the computer. The burgesses aren't computer experts, like many judges too, so it's not easy to know if a media has a copy protection and if it's allowed to "backup" such media. For video, electronics shops sell and advertise equipment to bear down any copy protection and there are also DAT recorders that cancel the copy protection bit, btw. for the DAT copy protection one digital copy is possible.
