HI
Ok only have the two boxes running now:
here is output ( have rebooted the linsys router on 192.168.1.1 ( gateway)

**********************************************
Listening on LPF/eth2/00:1f:c6:2a:43:b7
Sending on LPF/eth2/00:1f:c6:2a:43:b7
Sending on Socket/fallback
DHCPREQUEST on eth2 to 255.255.255.255 port 67
DHCPACK from 192.168.1.1
bound to 192.168.1.100 -- renewal in 38107 seconds.

So that is seeing the router
I now dont have eth0 on this box.

The other box is seeing the router on 192.168.1.1

The only thing changed of late is my USB hub which I have just setup.
