I'm still trying to get my sound card MIDI work. I'm using a BreadBoard for the circuit, but it might be that the Envy's MPU UART is broken. I'm just testing the MIDI input at the moment, it might be, that I need a TTL for the input too. I don't found any circuit diagram just for the Terratec EWX 24/96 MIDI. It's written and said that USB MIDI should be the better choice, but for Linux I sometimes heard that MPU MIDI should be the better choice.
