Hi Mitsch,

You mean the native linux vst stuff? I tried it out already. It's
working very fine. But i only found a few plugins: The stuff from juce
and some calf stuff. It's working really good! Are there more plugins
somewhere in the web?

I am NOT a fan of the VST stuff from steinberg. I also like the LADSPA
things and tried out a lot of ladspa effect. They are really cool,
exspecially for hardsic recording, and mixing. My issue is, that i don't
find any LADSPA instruments? And that's a lack for me...

I know that. But let me explain: I'm a fan of linux and the open source
thinking. So, what I want to do, is just to build up a working
environment under linux. My neighbour has a studio with MACs and Logic
and these things. So it's just that I want to use linux as I want to
help linux on its way to be better than the Windows stuff, also when
making music. I know, if I switch back to Windows or Mac, I can spend a
lot of money and then I'll have a perfect DAW. But thats not what I want...

Yeah. But as you don't use VST, where do you get your sounds from? Are
they all recorded?
