ok ... so what I think at the moment:
For making music, Linux is NOT a good alternative at the moment, 
especially if one needs to use a lot of VST instruments. For recording 
and mixing, things look different. What do you think?

Yeah, paying for some samples is always a solution. I think for Linux 
and YES, of course for Windows and Max users...

Yeah. You're totally right. When talking about instruments, for making 
music with linux, I think we're talking about synthesizers and drums ...
