I do agree :), but one exception, Seq24 isn't a good choice. I do
understand that Rosegarden might be to complex and Qtractor is to
tricky, because it might cause trouble, when taken from the
repositories. IMO Rosegarden or better Qtractor ;) would have been the
better choice. DVD authoring? Might be a book to be recommended :) to
people who are sceptic about Linux or FLOSS in general. I don't know
Open Movie Editor, but it looks interesting. At the moment I don't have
Cinelerra installed and I guess I'll give Open Movie Editor a chance. @
Daniel: I wish you success!

Btw. has anybody ever made a film by using Synfig, KToon, Animata or any
other 2D animation software? I only tried to do it with Synfig, a very
nice application, but it was too buggy. Animata looks very interesting
and because of "Kitchen BudaPest" I suppose that it comes from the
world's home of animation, even if Hungary isn't the centre. Dunno, but
I guess Czechoslovakia is the centre, but anyway, in this region of or
planet are a lot of people who are experienced with animation, for such
kind of software this could result with a more practical orientation.

Cheers,
Ralf

PS: I'm not sure if I should learn how to optimize 32bit chroot or if I
should change from 3.0-beta3 amd64 to 3.0 x86 when it's released.
