I'm no Vista fan, but this is kind of cool:

Apparently, Vista allows you to use the high speed random access found
in memory drives to cache your page file. At first I wondered how this
could be faster than a high speed HDD, but apparently the random reads
particular to a paging file make it more efficient to have direct block
access such as found in solid state devices.

 

So, in other words, you can cache your page file to your USB thumbdrive
(128 AES encrypted).
