Granted, but neither 9front nor 9legacy are tied to any promise of support. All it took in the past was to include an indication in the /sys/src/cmd/mkfile that the code for Fossil should not be compiled and deployed as part of any installation. By omitting the sources, as I explained, it denied the followers the option to provide that support altogether. That's not the exact opposite of offering to support it.
