According to Microsoft it was broke so they fixed it with the updates. Personally I like to keep my computer up-to-date in all areas that I can. Some people let their computers go until they have to take it into the shop and pay large sums to get fixed what they could have done before to protect their machines. A little foresight helps to prevent some very painful hindsight. Besides...if you don't like Microsoft you can always go with Linux. Tom I hope this helps you.
