I recently bought a new pc, which had W98SE as its operating system. I installed the same programs which are on my other pc, which has W95B as its operating system. I cretaed a TEMP folder on the second drive on each pc. I typically clear this folder of all the .tmp files leftover after I boot up each time. I have noticed that several of these files cannot be deleted, giving the access denied error message. My question is this...how can I determine what programs created these files and perhaps, still have them in use? These files concern me from a security standpoint. I know what programs are supposed to be running, but I suspect something else might be amiss. Your help will be much appreciated.
