I dont know when this will arrive at the group because I have had as much as up 
to four hours delay over the Christmas holidays with some mails, however one of 
the features with Win XP and ME is the System Restore option.  If, however, a 
virus infects a computer where this O/S is installed the virus may be backed 
up. 
In order to completely remove a virus on these operating systems, you should 
disable System Restore before cleaning the system, then reenable it after the 
system is clean.  It means losing Restore Points and installed software so it 
is 
as well to download, copy to CD and reinstal should that happen.
