That will be the case. Microcrap has such a strangle hold on the computer market, you almost do not have a choice. I have always liked 98 myself. Granted, it has its problems just like all the other Windows flavors but, it was always easy for me to fix when it broke. It was also easy for me to feel its pulse. I have supported 2k and XP ever since they hit the market. I never really did like either. The first released alpha version of XP actually impressed me. After that, it was the usual crap, in my opinion.
I have taken phone calls from people still needing support for 3.1. I had to support it. I could not say no.
