Adobe Pagemarker is hardly a simple little program. At best it needs
a lot of memory to run smoothly.
If you have little RAM you may want to install more.
In addition NIS doesn't work well on older computers. Try going with
Norton Antivirus only. I find NAV2003 works best on Windows ME
computers and uses much less resources than NIS2005. (which is a huge
resource hog) Windows ME also doesn't handle resource hogging
programs very well. You may be able to improve performance by turning
off the Windows ME System restore feature.
