It is possible to disable DMA, but you do it from the Device Manager in Windows, not the application.
I was understanding this program to be the type that hacks the firmware to accept out-of-region discs. If it doesn't modify the firmware it may not be necessary to flash at this point. Disable DMA first. If this doesn't work try the firmware flash. (Sometimes a firmware flash is needed to make DMA work later) --- In [email protected], "Hani Zureikat" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > HI Thomas > > I don't think that the main use of DVD REGION+ CSS FREE is to change > anything in firmware cause when u use it DVDs work and when you disable > it ( not revert order) DVDs stop working( DVDs with different region ) , > but it seems that the option " Enable DMA " is designed to mess up with > something big cause it has no " Disable DMA ". > > Well ill try Flashing > What do you think about: Backing up my drive -shouldn't be dangerous- > with MTK flash (dos) and then use LTN flash to flash the drive > I also forgot to say that LTN flash can't flash IDE port (Fix misflahed > drives). > > thanks > > > -----Original Message----- > From: N.
